Dear Prospective Buyer,
After more than 30 years of living in our home on Mountain Springs Lane, it truly has been “The House that Built Us.” Thanks to an early retirement, we realized it was time to realize our dream of living on the water and are moving out of Northern Virginia.
Our family’s favorite times were sitting by the wood-burning fireplace, grilling steaks on the deck, playing games in the basement, and gathering with family & friends to share a meal around the dining table.
Our sons learned to ride a bicycle in the quiet cul-de-sac, and honed their swimming skills in the nearby pool with friends they’ve known since preschool. Our yard was a favorite neighborhood spot to play football and have nerf gun fights. The proximity of the high school meant that we never had to miss an event.
We will miss our favorite places to have a night out for dinner like Ciao and Anita’s, along with the conveniences of Fair Lakes, Fair Oaks and Fairfax Corner. Hopping onto 66 to head into D.C. for a museum outing is a great way to spend a Saturday. Best of all, the charming town of Clifton is only a few minutes away.
